Use of Synergy:
The same colours would eb used on the front cover as well as the contents page, the masthead used on the magazine cover is also used on the contents page.
It is very simplistic contents page, with very little page numbers articles wrote down only the main articles are shown on the contents page, this suggests that the audience for this magazine are the type of people that want to get straight to the point, this suggests that they are busy, students for example, or a busy business worker, this suggests that their readers are highly educated and are smart.
Although this contents page is only from last years August issue, the iconography of the page suggests that it has a theme or genre of old fashion, this is becasue of the pictures, some are black and white. The paper is even tinted yellow/brown, this in itself is a use iconography, this is because paper that looks tinted is commonly associated wiht an old fashion aspect.
The famous Kermit the frog, a very well known puppet who has been around for many years is featured in a picture on the contents page, this is use of interextuality, this is because he is from something else, originally a childrens tv programe and it has been used in the contents page, many of the readers will be familar with kermit and there is a good chance that they grew up watching the programme, this suggests what the age of the magazines target market it.
Q Contents page
This is very diffrent to the Mojo contents page, however it still uses the use of synergy, for example, the colour pallete, red and white. It is layed out in a very simplistic way, very organised and neat, this sugests that the magazine will be in the same format, very imformal articles that are very interlectual.
NME
This is a little busy than the previous magazine contents page, bright colours that relate to the front cover is the use of Synergy, it is very eye catching that suggests their target auidience are young people that can get excited and easly drawn to bright colourful articles.
